Knightdale residents have a fresh opportunity to shape the future of their town as applications open for several key advisory boards. The Town of Knightdale is now accepting applications for the Community Relations Advisory Board, the Land Use Review Board, and the Veterans Memorial Advisory Board.
These boards play a vital role in guiding town policy, reviewing development proposals, and fostering inclusive civic engagement. Whether you're passionate about honoring veterans, improving neighborhood connections, or helping shape land use decisions, there's a seat at the table for you.
When asked about the importance of advisory boards, Mayor Pro Tem Steve Evans responded, “Community advisory boards succeed not because of titles or credentials, but because everyday citizens bring lived experience, local wisdom, and a genuine commitment to the places they call home. These citizens consistently show up to lend their voice, time, and care to the future of their community.”
The deadline to apply is January 23. Interested individuals can apply online at bit.ly/48XGgpi or scan the QR code featured in the town’s promotional materials.
